The Big Question

Two days on from my last post I honestly consider renaming my home 'Bark-a-lot Towers' .

The construction workers on the house behind me are really going for gold and at least one of them thinks he's a plain ol' cowboy, letting out an almighty 'Eeeeya' scream every now and then. Here's to the next few months of my life; it's going to be noisy...!!!

I had a second letter from the hospital asking me to confirm my specialist appointment and a third letter (or was it the fourth?) advising of an 'important change of venue'. On the actual day I might just report to their main reception because undoubtedly by then the venue will have changed again.

Just to be on the safe side, I will reconfirm the appointment . I really need it... this morning for example I found myself unable to open a new bottle of orange juice because I couldn't get the top off (my own personal bottle and can opener had already left for work) yet I am perfectly capable of going on a 75 minute power walk to work - does this make any sense? My osteopath said that the reflexes in my arms and hands are extremely 'sluggish' but there doesn't seem to be an obvious problem - it's all a BIG mystery!

My husband asked me once what I would do without him - probably starve to death, haha.

On a brighter note, I went to our midweek Bible study last night and we're now working our way through the book of 1 Kings and the division of the land of Israel. I think it to be one of the most fascinating books of the Bible, it illustrates so vividly the knock-on effect ungodly leadership has on a people until their total demise.

I wonder where we are headed ?
