Superman 64

If you have ever played Superman 64, you understand just how bad a video game can get. I don't like to go on and on about really bad games, because there are a lot of people who do a much better job of trashing games than I do. Anyway, I just grabbed a copy of this game for a quarter at a yard sale down the block and thought I'd put together a review to share with everyone. One of my biggest frustrations (and likely everyone else's who have ever played this) is the fact that the game is constantly timing you. There is nothing worse in a game than a timer. I hate being rushed, especially when the controls are terrible and the graphics a "catchy". When I saw the graphics are "catchy", I am referring to the fact that every time you fly close to something you get hung up on it and the camera angle goes to hell.
Anyway, if you do get past the beginning stage where you have to fly through all the rings, you will be greeted by another timed stage followed by more levels of ring flight. This is just a frustrating game that is as difficult to play as it is very annoying. Another aspect of this game that drives me nuts is that if you fail your "mission", you have to start over at the ring stage. I really don't have much to say about this game because I never got further than the second ring stage thing, so I can't really recommend this whole mess to anyone. I would be interested to hear any of your thoughts on this game if you have made it further. Anyway, here is a video of some of the game play.
