Shiny flat garage floors...

It isn't very much fun, and it our locality a lot of houses have huge basement garages that can fit several cars, or at least two or three. They aren't just used for parking cars, or even as a workshop, in fact most people around here use their garage as a large entertainment area.
Park the cars on the street, set up a few large tables, and a couple of dozen plastic chairs, and over in the corner a music system, and voila, you have the perfect entertaining room.
Of course actually getting it to a stage where everything is perfect to begin with is the hard part. Over the las week I've been helping a friend smooth out the high spots in his garage floor, and we both kept asking ourselves if there wasn't an easier way.
Actually there is, and it has a weird name, hybrid polymer garage flooring, yeah I know, it's a mouthful, but take one look at the photo on that site and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
The cupboards look amazing as well, raised off the floor so washing the floor doesn't flood them. Here, we make do with whatever old wardrobe we can get our hands on, but seeing how it could be done has us both envious, even contemplating the idea of starting again instead of persevering.
