It is raining now...

Hello! Hope you like the new design of my blog. I finally figured out how to convert the two column Minima Lefty Stretch template into a three column one and I've added some extra widgets, too.

Take a look at the picture above... I guess I won't be walking to work today!!

I have discovered that it only takes 60 minutes to walk from my house to the office, it looks a lot further when I look down toward the city of Wellington from my verandah up in our hilly suburb.The rain is so heavy that even the construction workers have left (thank God for the smaller blessings!!!) and my dogs are literally sitting behind me with their back legs crossed because they don't want to go out into the rain to go to the 'bathroom'.

My little dog Jessie has a 'hair appointment' tomorrow. What that basically means is that she's getting shorn.

Her long coat is beautiful but her skin is very oily and the stuff goes into the coat and makes it all smelly and sticky... so I've decided that's she's getting a summer haircut... she'll probably look like a puppy again when they've finished with her. I need to make sure that I have batteries in my camera because I wouldn't want to miss this for nothing!!!!

My husband suggested that we take her to the sheep shearers since she's a sheepdog... I love his sense of humour.
