Food Network Steak Sandwiches at Reds, Indians, Tigers, Rangers, Cardinals, Brewers, Padres, Orioles games

Saturday, 26 March 2011

The Food Network has a sandwich for MLB fans: the Red, White & Blue Steak Sandwich, served on a French demi-baguette, topped with Maytag blue cheese and Peppadew-pepper mayonnaise. Sounds awesome. The sandwich will be available at eight ballparks (see below), along with a regional-tastes steak sandwich (also below). Thank you, Delaware North Sportservice:

Great American Ballpark; also in Cincinnati: a bourbon-spiked BBQ sauce and smoked cheddar cheese topping
Progressive Field; also in Cleveland: sauerkraut and Bertman’s brown Polish mustard
Comerica Park; also in Detroit: tangy banana pepper mayonnaise and feta cheese
Rangers Ballpark; also in Arlington, TX: a smoky charred salsa verde topping
Busch Stadium; also in St. Louis: St. Louis-style BBQ sauce and cheddar cheese
Miller Park; also in Milwaukee: sharp and hoppy beer cheese
Petco Park; also in San Diego: Kimchi and a touch of mayonnaise
Oriole Park; also at Camden Yards in Baltimore: Old Bay-infused steak sauce

At Target Field in Minneapolis fans there will be two new versions of Kramarczuk’s sausage: a smoked bratwurst with horseradish cream, and a wild rice bratwurst with pickled red cabbage and beer mustard.
