Clare Valley Film Festival 2011
Clare Valley is one of the oldest wine regions of South Australia which is at home to many tourist events. One of its renowned events is the Clare Valley Film Festival which produces local and international independent films. They inspire and educate the filmmakers specially the young ones to create a thematic video masterpiece. The Clare Valley Film Festival started to get entries during the last quarter of 2010. The deadline is on January 31, 2011. Awards that will be given in the film fest includes Best Australian Short Film, Best International Short Film and Audience Choice Award. The screened entries will be shown in Blyth Cinema. Aside from these categories, they are also screening an annual competition called the Clewers 24 Hour Film Challenge. The competition is open to all video enthusiasts all over the world. In this contest, you are given 24 hours to extract your eccentric creativity to film a 3-minute video that is based on a theme for 24 hours.
Pre-registration for Clewers Film Challenge 2011 started last January 10. The challenge will be on March 18.
