Avatar is still doing strongly at the box office. For the first official weekend of the year, it managed to top things again with another $68 million in ticket sales. Worldwide the movie has already managed to top $1 billion at the box office. We’re starting to get back into gear a bit now that the holidays are over with four new releases hitting theaters this weekend. Things are still a little slow on store shelves, but that should pick up soon enough. Check out a full list of this week’s new releases below.
