Sourdough bread starter recipe ingredients:

  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all purpose flour

Best sourdough starter instruction:

Pour warm water over dry yeast and sugar, mix it and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Add flour in it, beat until smooth and cover it with plastic wrap.

Let it stand in a warm place for 1 day, stir it good and let it stand for 1 day more to become bubbly.

If you don’t want to use it immediately, store it in refrigerator.
