Africa Looking For Resins
In my earlier blog I have mentioned how paint, furniture and construction industries are growing in Africa. One of the reasons behind progress of these industries is upcoming Soccer World Cup. Hence there is a great demand of chemicals and raw materials used in these industries, resins are one of them. There are different types of resins available and most of them are used as raw materials for many industries. Copal, Dammar, Mastic and Sandarac are all hard transparent resins which are chiefly used in varnish and cement industry.
1. Copal: it is very essential in making strong wood luster. Majorly used to manufacture carriages and furniture. It is also one of the materials to make certain types of jewellery.
2. Dammar: it is a type of gum which is often used in food as a shining agent, for producing aromas, varnishes and oil paintings.
3. Mastic: is also known as Arabic gum which is used in preparing many food items like jams, cakes, puddings, pastries etc. it is required in cosmetic industry to produce soaps, perfumes, body lotions and body oils. It is also needed to make polishes.
4. Sandarac: is little harder than Mastic. Sandarac is often used as a replacement for Mastic and is also useful on its own to make varnishes.
Radiant Resources is a chemicals trader in Dubai. We have all types of chemicals useful in different industries. We are one of the bulk chemicals suppliers to Africa. Along with resins we have been exporting many other raw materials and chemicals to our customers in Africa.
